Institutions that might produce and distribute my film

Seeing as my film would include large scale action sequences and a number of different settings, it would require a fairly large budget, and this is usually the case for films in the historical genre.

The leading distributor for the high-grossing films that are similar to mine is Warner Bros. Examples of these films include 300, The Hobbit trilogy, The Last Samurai, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Alexander and Troy although many of them are more action and fantasy oriented than my film.

Costume and Props

Due to the historical setting of my trailer, the costumes and props will be crucial in its construction, and therefore it was the area in which I spent most money.

Costume

Below is the costume that I ordered for the protagonist in my trailer and the one he will predominantly be seen wearing throughout. It was suitable as it is specifically made to look medieval, with a coat of arms on the torso which is in the style of a typical contemporary English coat of arms, which would have been born by someone born into a noble family, which is the case in my trailer seeing as the protagonist is a prince.

Props

Fake Blood - This will be used for the battle scenes at the end of the trailer.

Swords - I have three swords that will be used in the production of my trailer. One is plastic and will be used as the sword that the dying king hands to his son at the start of the trailer. The other two are metal but blunt, and therefore ideal for shooting fighting scenes, which is what they will be used for. The villain will wield the larger of the two swords in his fight against the protagonist to create an underdog image for the hero.
